30 inches of snow grind operations to a halt. Cole struggles to get trails open with a minimal crew showing up for work. The ranch becomes a winter wonderland for those who make to the top.
Cole returns from New Zealand on opening day. A trio goes xtreme and unguided resulting in a crash and getting lost on the ranch.
Wes is backed up with several wrecked snowmobiles while Jason battles 100mph winds on the ranch with a sold out trip of tourist. Cole announces his wife Sara is having their first child.
Heavy storms move in as Cole and Darryl agree to buy a competitor and double the size of the summer rafting company. All hands on deck as the snow blankets the ranch.
A group of young men go extreme with Jason guiding them to steep cliffs and jumping trails for an xtreme ride. Darryl realizes he must have knee surgery at the height of the season.
Everything spirals as Darryl is hospitalized during peak season. Guides struggle as icy conditions cause tourist to lose control. Everyone struggles as storms rage and the staff is stretched to the max.
Darryl and Cole deal with the loss of a loved one while Jason takes over as boss and the staff has a group that just wants to do it their way.

Snow groomer finally gets fixed while Rob handles the largest group of the season and makes a new friend for life. Guides unexpectedly quit and Sara develops problems with her pregnancy.
An 8000 lb grooming machine breaks down blocking trails. A tourist crashes into a tree off trail and Robin must leave basecamp to attempt a rescue.
